1. Who We Are

99ANNA99 is an independent Indian phone accessories brand owned and operated out of:

When you visit our website (99anna99.shop), place an order, or message us on WhatsApp, you entrust us with some of your personal information. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

2. What Information We Collect

When you place an order

• Name — to address the parcel to you
• Phone number — for delivery coordination, tracking updates, WhatsApp support
• Email address (optional) — for order receipts, tracking links, invoices
• Shipping address — to physically deliver your order
• Order details — which case, which phone model, any customization (photos, names)

When you upload a custom design

• Photos or images you upload — stored only long enough to print your case and handle any re-prints needed within the 7-day return window
• Text you type (names, captions) — stored with your order

When you visit our website

• IP address — logged by our web server for security and abuse prevention
• Browser type, device type, referring site — for aggregate analytics (we use Google Analytics)
• Pages you view and how long you spend on them — to improve the site

When you contact us

• The content of your messages on WhatsApp, email, or our contact form
• Your Order ID (if referenced)

What we do NOT collect

• Credit card, debit card, or banking details — we don't have an online payment gateway. UPI is handled outside our site, through your own UPI app
• Your Aadhaar, PAN, or government IDs — we don't need these
• Passwords — we don't have user accounts
• Location/GPS data — we only use your shipping address

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect only for these specific purposes:

• Fulfilling your order — printing your case, packing it, handing it to the courier
• Delivering your order — sharing your name, address and phone number with our courier partner
• Communicating with you about your order — order confirmation, tracking, delivery updates via SMS, email, and WhatsApp
• Handling returns, exchanges, and support requests
• Processing payments — confirming receipt of UPI payments when you send them manually
• Improving our products and website — aggregate, anonymized analytics only
• Sending newsletters — only if you explicitly sign up, and you can unsubscribe at any time
• Preventing fraud or abuse — detecting fraudulent orders, coupon misuse, and COD refusal patterns

4. Who We Share Your Information With

We share your information with only a small number of trusted third parties, and only what's necessary:

Courier / logistics partners

To ship your order, we share your name, shipping address, and phone number with the courier partner servicing your pincode. The courier uses this information solely to deliver your parcel and may contact you directly about delivery.

Email service providers

We use email services (such as Gmail, Zoho, or similar) to send you order confirmations, tracking links, and support replies. These providers process your email address under their own privacy policies.

Analytics providers

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate website usage patterns. Google Analytics uses cookies and logs IP addresses (anonymized). You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the official opt-out browser add-on.

WhatsApp Business

When you message us on WhatsApp, the conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

Government / legal requirements

We may disclose your information if required by Indian law — for example, in response to a valid court order, subpoena, or investigation by Indian law enforcement.

What we never do

• We never sell your name, phone, email, or address to advertisers, data brokers, or any third party
• We never share your data with marketing companies
• We never use your uploaded photos for our marketing without your written permission

5. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies for basic functionality and analytics:

• Essential cookies — to keep your cart items while browsing; these are required for the site to work
• Analytics cookies — used by Google Analytics to measure aggregate site usage; anonymized and aggregated

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party tracking scripts beyond basic analytics. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

6. How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect the information you share with us:

• HTTPS encryption — all data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted
• No payment data stored — we don't store credit card or bank details because we don't collect them
• Password-protected internal systems — only our small team can access customer orders
• Automatic deletion of old uploaded images — custom photos are deleted 30 days after order completion
• Monitored for abuse — unusual login or access attempts are flagged

That said, no system is 100% secure. If we ever experience a data incident, we'll notify affected customers within 72 hours as required by Indian law.

7. Your Rights Over Your Data

Under the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and related laws, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the information we hold about you
• Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information
• Erasure — ask us to delete your information (we'll delete unless legally required to retain)
• Withdraw consent — unsubscribe from newsletters, opt out of WhatsApp updates
• Portability — receive your data in a portable format
• File a grievance — with our Grievance Officer (see Contact section below)

8. How Long We Keep Your Data

• Order records — kept for 7 years (required by Indian tax law)
• Uploaded custom photos — deleted 30 days after order fulfilment (after return window closes)
• WhatsApp and email conversations — kept as long as needed to resolve your queries; archived after 2 years
• Analytics data — aggregated and anonymized; retained by Google Analytics per their default settings (26 months)
• Newsletter subscribers — kept until you unsubscribe

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under 18. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you're a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it immediately.

If you wish to order a case as a gift for a minor, we'll ship to you (the adult purchaser), not directly to the child.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email (if we have yours) or a banner on our website for at least 30 days.

By continuing to use our website or services after a policy change, you accept the updated terms.
